Neil Bush, brother of former US President George W Bush, has publicly endorsed Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico in Texas. Bush cited concerns over the Republican candidate, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton's, judgment and conduct, including his impeachment by the Texas House. He also expressed disapproval of Paxton's efforts to challenge the 2020 election results. This endorsement highlights divisions within the Texas Republican party as Talarico faces Paxton in a closely contested race for the Senate seat. Democrats hope to flip the seat in the upcoming midterm elections.
