Heavy rainfall has triggered a significant landslide in Sikkim's Rimbi village, causing a mudslide that carried mud, rocks, and debris downhill. The incident has raised concerns for nearby houses, properties, and road connectivity, though no loss of life has been reported. This event is part of multiple landslide disruptions across Sikkim following recent heavy overnight rainfall. In response to the ongoing risks, 128 people from 28 houses in vulnerable areas of Rimbi have been relocated to safer locations by authorities.
