Delhi Metro reopened entry and exit gates at 45 stations on Saturday, following a 25-hour closure imposed ahead of a planned Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protest. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) confirmed that all stations across its network were now open, with interchange facilities also restored. The restrictions, initially requested by Delhi Police, were implemented as a security measure. The Supreme Court is set to hear a contempt plea alleging authorities failed to adhere to its order against blanket curbs on metro services.

दिल्ली मेट्रो ने कॉकरोच जनता पार्टी (CJP) के नियोजित विरोध प्रदर्शन से पहले लगाए गए 25 घंटे के लॉकडाउन के बाद शनिवार को 45 स्टेशनों पर प्रवेश और निकास द्वार फिर से खोल दिए। दिल्ली मेट्रो रेल कॉर्पोरेशन (DMRC) ने पुष्टि की कि उसके नेटवर्क के सभी स्टेशन अब खुले हैं, और इंटरचेंज सुविधाएं भी बहाल कर दी गई हैं। दिल्ली पुलिस द्वारा शुरू में अनुरोध किए गए प्रतिबंधों को सुरक्षा उपाय के तौर पर लागू किया गया था। सुप्रीम कोर्ट मेट्रो सेवाओं पर व्यापक प्रतिबंधों के खिलाफ अपने आदेश का पालन करने में अधिकारियों की विफलता के आरोप वाली अवमानना याचिका पर सुनवाई के लिए तैयार है।
