The US Defence Intelligence Agency has released a rare photograph showing China's secretive Shenlong space plane docked with another spacecraft in orbit, its cargo compartment open. The image, captured by a US satellite in May 2024, offers a clearer view of the Chinese vehicle during its third mission. Beijing has revealed very little about Shenlong's activities, though it is designed as a reusable spacecraft. Its appearance, with wings and a payload bay, is similar to the American X-37B space plane, raising questions about its purpose and capabilities.
