Vande Mataram Played Before India Afghanistan T20I

In a historic first, the national song 'Vande Mataram' was played after the national anthem before the India vs Afghanistan T20I in New Delhi. This marks the first time the song has been performed at an international sporting event. The Union Home Ministry directive led to all six stanzas being played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. The national song, penned by Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay, was officially recognized in 1950.

वंदे मातरम बजाया गया भारत अफगानिस्तान टी20 मैच से पहले

दिल्ली में भारत और अफ़गानिस्तान के बीच T20 मैच से पहले राष्ट्रगान के बाद पहली बार 'वंदे मातरम' गाया गया। यह किसी अंतरराष्ट्रीय खेल आयोजन में पहली बार हुआ है। गृह मंत्रालय के निर्देश पर अरुण जेटली स्टेडियम में 'वंदे मातरम' के सभी छह छंद बजाए गए। बंकिम चंद्र चट्टोपाध्याय द्वारा लिखित यह राष्ट्रीय गीत 1950 में आधिकारिक रूप से स्वीकार किया गया था।
