Kenya Confirms Third Ebola Case Linked To First Patient

Kenya has confirmed its third case of the Bundibugyo virus, a strain of Ebola, ten days after reporting its first case and death in Nairobi. The latest patient, a 65-year-old woman, is a close relative of the first two cases and has been in quarantine since October 6. She developed symptoms and was isolated, testing positive for the virus. Health officials stated there is no community spread and the risk to the public remains low, with 127 out of 130 contacts traced and in quarantine.
