Ex-Army Man Stole 12 Weapons From Cantonment

A dismissed Army Havildar allegedly stole 12 military-grade weapons and ammunition from a high-security cantonment in Secunderabad last month. The ex-serviceman rode a scooty into the 20th Madras Regiment, broke into the armoury, and hid the stolen arsenal. He later buried the weapons in Nagarkurnool district. Investigators suspect insider connivance, believing the theft was not for personal revenge but potentially for anti-national elements. The stolen weapons have since been recovered.

सिकंदराबाद के एक हाई-सिक्योरिटी कैंटोनमेंट से पिछले महीने एक बर्खास्त आर्मी हवलदार ने 12 सैन्य-ग्रेड हथियार और गोला-बारूद चुरा लिए। पूर्व सैनिक ने स्कूटी से 20वीं मद्रास रेजिमेंट में घुसकर हथियारों को चुराया और बाद में उन्हें नागरकर्नूल जिले में दफना दिया। जांचकर्ताओं को शक है कि इसमें किसी अंदरूनी व्यक्ति की मिलीभगत थी और यह चोरी देश-विरोधी तत्वों के लिए की गई हो सकती है। चोरी हुए हथियार बरामद कर लिए गए हैं।
