दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट ने केंद्र सरकार से कहा है कि वे अनशन पर बैठे एक्टिविस्ट सोनम वांगचुक के स्वास्थ्य की नियमित जांच करें। कोर्ट ने कहा कि "जीवन अनमोल है"। डॉक्टरों ने चेतावनी दी है कि सोनम वांगचुक, जो अनिश्चितकालीन भूख हड़ताल पर हैं, जल्द ही गंभीर स्थिति में पहुँच सकते हैं, जिससे उनके अंगों को नुकसान हो सकता है। उन्होंने अब तक 9 किलो से ज़्यादा वज़न खो दिया है।
