HC Rules Against Halving Accident Compensation for Triple

The Chhattisgarh High Court has ruled that triple riding on a motorcycle does not automatically warrant a reduction in accident compensation. The court found the victim's income was wrongly assessed and increased the total compensation to nearly nineteen lakh rupees. It also significantly raised the consortium amount for the victim's family.

उच्च न्यायालय ने तीन गुना के लिए दुर्घटना मुआवजे को आधा करने के खिलाफ फैसला सुनाया

छत्तीसगढ़ हाई कोर्ट ने फैसला सुनाया है कि मोटरसाइकिल पर तीन लोगों के बैठने से दुर्घटना मुआवजे में कटौती नहीं होगी। कोर्ट ने पाया कि पीड़ित की आय का गलत आकलन किया गया था और कुल मुआवजा लगभग उन्नीस लाख रुपये कर दिया। परिवार के लिए भी बड़ी रकम बढ़ाई गई है।
