Karnataka's government has finally presented a draft Apartment Ownership Bill, addressing a decade-long demand from residents. It also focuses on enhancing the safety of older buildings, streamlining dispute resolution mechanisms, and ensuring greater accountability among builders and resident welfare associations.

कर्नाटक सरकार ने आखिरकार एक ड्राफ्ट अपार्टमेंट ओनरशिप बिल पेश किया है। यह निवासियों की दस साल पुरानी मांग को पूरा करता है। इस बिल से अपार्टमेंट कॉम्प्लेक्स के प्रबंधन में सुधार होगा, जिसमें सक्षम प्राधिकारी की स्पष्ट परिभाषा दी गई है। यह पुरानी इमारतों की सुरक्षा बढ़ाने, विवाद समाधान को आसान बनाने और बिल्डरों व रेजिडेंट वेलफेयर एसोसिएशनों की जवाबदेही तय करने पर भी ध्यान केंद्रित करता है।
