चीफ जस्टिस सूर्यकांत ने कहा कि हर साल पैदा होने वाली अवैध दौलत इतनी है कि उससे दुनिया के हर इंसान के लिए लैपटॉप खरीदे जा सकते हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि आर्थिक अपराध और अवैध दौलत अक्सर देश की संप्रभुता को कमजोर करते हैं। यह दौलत उन कानूनी ढाँचों को दरकिनार कर देती है जो उन्हें विदेशी हस्तक्षेप से बचाते हैं, जो एक बड़ी वैश्विक वित्तीय समस्या का संकेत है।
