News18 Hindi · india

In Mau, Uttar Pradesh, the government Ayurvedic hospital has 15 beds allocated on paper, but not a single one is physically present. This forces patients needing admission to seek treatment at private hospitals, incurring significant expenses. Patients report that while doctors are available and provide medication, the lack of beds prevents them from being admitted for serious conditions. The hospital's in-charge stated that land for the beds is being identified, but allocation by the Nagar Panchayat is pending. This situation leaves patients with limited options for care.
