CBI Team Arrives in Mansa to Probe Anti-Drug Activist's Murder After Amit Shah's Visit

CBI team arrived in Mansa late Tuesday night to investigate the killing of anti-drug activist Parwinder Singh Jhota. The arrival followed Union Home Minister Amit Shah's visit to the victim's family and his assurance of justice. The CBI team will take over the case, registered under murder and arms act charges, and begin investigations after completing legal formalities. The activist's father and an action committee had persistently demanded a CBI probe.

सीबीआई की टीम मंगलवार देर रात मनसा पहुंची और नशीले पदार्थों के कार्यकर्ता परविंदर सिंह झोटा की हत्या की जांच शुरू की। केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह के पीड़ित परिवार से मिलने और न्याय का आश्वासन देने के बाद यह टीम आई है। सीबीआई की टीम हत्या और शस्त्र अधिनियम के तहत दर्ज मामले को अपने हाथ में लेगी और कानूनी औपचारिकताएं पूरी करने के बाद जांच शुरू करेगी। कार्यकर्ता के पिता और एक एक्शन कमेटी ने लगातार सीबीआई जांच की मांग की थी।
