Delhi Expands Air Quality Monitoring Network With 13 New Stations
Hindustan Times · environment
Delhi has significantly enhanced its air quality monitoring capabilities by inaugurating 13 new continuous ambient air quality monitoring stations (CAAQMS), expanding the total network to 60. These stations will continuously measure pollutants like PM2.5 and PM10, along with meteorological data, with information accessible via the Central Pollution Control Board's server and the SAMEER mobile app. The expansion aims to assess pollution levels in peri-urban and suburban areas, crucial for understanding pollutant movement into and out of the city.
