452 Guest Lecturers Get Notices Over Fake PhDs

The Department of Collegiate Education has issued notices to 452 guest lecturers selected for government colleges over suspected fake PhD degrees. These lecturers had claimed PhD qualifications for the 2025-26 academic year but not for 2026-27. College principals must obtain written explanations and documents within seven days. Failure to do so will result in disciplinary action. This issue is a carryover from the previous year, where fake degrees were previously identified.

उच्च शिक्षा विभाग ने 452 अतिथि शिक्षकों को सरकारी कॉलेजों में नियुक्ति के लिए जारी नोटिस में संदिग्ध फर्जी पीएचडी डिग्री का मामला उठाया है। इन शिक्षकों ने 2025-26 के लिए पीएचडी योग्यता बताई थी, लेकिन 2026-27 के लिए नहीं। कॉलेज प्राचार्यों को सात दिनों के भीतर लिखित स्पष्टीकरण और दस्तावेज जमा करने होंगे। ऐसा न करने पर अनुशासनात्मक कार्रवाई होगी। यह पिछले साल से चला आ रहा मामला है, जहाँ पहले भी फर्जी डिग्रियों की पहचान हुई थी।
