The US House of Representatives has voted for a third time to end the war in Iran, passing a war powers resolution. The vote, 220-204, saw seven House Republicans join Democrats in favour. Representative Zach Nunn stated sustained combat operations now require congressional authorization. This action, costing $38 billion over six months, is likely the last House vote before midterm elections. The war, launched on February 28, is worsening inflation and straining munitions stockpiles.
