Ladakh presented its rich textile heritage and creative identity at Lakmé Fashion Week x FDCI in New Delhi. The showcase, titled “The Fifth Season: A Fashion Story from Ladakh,” highlighted the region's world-renowned Pashmina, indigenous textiles, and traditional craftsmanship. It focused on the artisans and pastoral communities of Changthang, who sustain this heritage. Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena emphasized ensuring benefits reach herders and craftspeople while preserving authenticity. The event aimed to promote local designers and artisans, creating sustainable livelihoods and strengthening economic growth.

नई दिल्ली में लक्मे फैशन वीक x FDCI में लद्दाख ने अपनी समृद्ध टेक्सटाइल विरासत और रचनात्मक पहचान पेश की। "द फिफ्थ सीजन: ए फैशन स्टोरी फ्रॉम लद्दाख" नामक इस प्रदर्शन में क्षेत्र की विश्व-प्रसिद्ध पश्मीना, स्वदेशी वस्त्रों और पारंपरिक शिल्प कौशल को उजागर किया गया। इसने चांगथांग के कारीगरों और चरवाहा समुदायों पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया, जो इस विरासत को बनाए रखते हैं। लेफ्टिनेंट गवर्नर विनय कुमार सक्सेना ने प्रामाणिकता बनाए रखते हुए लाभ चरवाहों और शिल्पकारों तक पहुंचाने पर जोर दिया। इस आयोजन का उद्देश्य स्थानीय डिजाइनरों और कारीगरों को बढ़ावा देना, स्थायी आजीविका बनाना और आर्थिक विकास को मजबूत करना था।
