Farmer Stabbed to Death in Bihar Over Rs 4 Lakh Land Deal Dispute

A 48-year-old farmer, Ajit Kumar Sahni, was fatally stabbed in Bihar's Samastipur district on Saturday following a dispute over a Rs 4 lakh land deal. Sahni had paid the full amount for two kathas of land, but the seller allegedly neither registered the property nor returned the money. He was lured to a village on the pretext of getting his money back before being attacked. Police have registered an FIR and are conducting raids to apprehend the accused and his associates involved in the murder.

बिहार के समस्तीपुर जिले में शनिवार को 48 वर्षीय किसान अजीत कुमार साहनी की 4 लाख रुपये के जमीन सौदे के विवाद में चाकू मारकर हत्या कर दी गई। साहनी ने दो कट्ठा जमीन के लिए पूरी रकम चुका दी थी, लेकिन विक्रेता ने कथित तौर पर न तो संपत्ति पंजीकृत की और न ही पैसे वापस किए। पैसे वापस दिलाने के बहाने उसे एक गांव में बुलाया गया था, जिसके बाद उस पर हमला किया गया। पुलिस ने एफआईआर दर्ज कर ली है और आरोपियों और हत्या में शामिल उनके सहयोगियों को पकड़ने के लिए छापेमारी कर रही है।
