Activists from the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) marched on Wednesday to a clothing store in Alappuzha. The store is owned by the mother of Suhail Sajeev, the accused in the Nedumbassery accident case where three youngsters died after being hit by a luxury car. Police intercepted the protesters. DYFI alleged that the driver's name was omitted from the FIR due to political intervention. They claimed local residents apprehended the accused and handed him over to the police.
