The Delhi Cabinet has approved the 'DURGA' scheme, aimed at empowering women and transgender individuals through self-employment by providing electric autos. In its first phase, 1,300 pink e-autos will be deployed, with 1,170 for women and 130 for transgender persons. This initiative seeks to offer safe, clean, and dignified employment opportunities, promote women's safety, and increase transgender participation in the transport sector.

दिल्ली कैबिनेट ने 'दुर्गा' योजना को मंजूरी दे दी है। इसका मकसद महिलाओं और ट्रांसजेंडर लोगों को इलेक्ट्रिक ऑटो देकर आत्मनिर्भर बनाना है। पहले चरण में 1,300 पिंक ई-ऑटो चलाए जाएंगे, जिनमें 1,170 महिलाओं के लिए और 130 ट्रांसजेंडर लोगों के लिए होंगे। इससे सुरक्षित, स्वच्छ और सम्मानजनक रोजगार मिलेगा, महिलाओं की सुरक्षा बढ़ेगी और परिवहन क्षेत्र में ट्रांसजेंडर लोगों की भागीदारी भी बढ़ेगी।
