A Delhi court has reserved its order on a plea by the CBI seeking a two-day transit remand for Sourabh Chandrakar, the alleged kingpin of the ₹6,000-crore Mahadev online betting app case. Chandrakar was recently extradited from Oman by the CBI. The agency wants to produce him before a special court in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Chandrakar's counsel opposed the plea, arguing his extradition was for a Prevention of Money Laundering Act case, not the CBI's. He is wanted in two CBI and one ED case.
