Actress Rakul Preet Singh has strongly refuted reports of income tax raids on her premises, calling them baseless rumours. She clarified that the search operations were not related to her in any way. Singh stated that she comes from an armed forces background and has earned her place in the industry through hard work, diligently paying her taxes since the age of 20. She also asserted that she has no benami property or involvement in any illegal foreign transactions, either personally or through any production house.

एक्ट्रेस रकुल प्रीत सिंह ने अपने ठिकानों पर इनकम टैक्स रेड की खबरों को पूरी तरह से बेबुनियाद अफवाह बताया है। उन्होंने साफ किया कि यह तलाशी अभियान उनसे किसी भी तरह से जुड़ा नहीं था। सिंह ने कहा कि वह एक आर्म्ड फोर्सेज बैकग्राउंड से आती हैं और उन्होंने 20 साल की उम्र से ही अपनी मेहनत से इंडस्ट्री में जगह बनाई है और लगातार टैक्स भरा है। उन्होंने यह भी जोर देकर कहा कि उनके पास कोई बेनामी संपत्ति नहीं है और न ही वह व्यक्तिगत रूप से या किसी प्रोडक्शन हाउस के माध्यम से किसी भी अवैध विदेशी लेनदेन में शामिल हैं।
