Ahmedabad Road Caves In Thrice In Four Days

Three road cave-ins have occurred within four days near Manekbaug Crossroads in Ahmedabad, trapping vehicles and raising concerns. The latest incident on Wednesday saw two cars stuck after the road gave way. Residents suspect ongoing underground stormwater pipeline projects, using micro-tunnelling technology, are weakening the roads. Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation is investigating, but locals allege the infrastructure work is responsible for the repeated collapses on this busy junction.

अहमदाबाद के मणिकबाग क्रॉसरोड के पास चार दिन में तीन बार सड़क धंस गई है, जिससे गाड़ियां फंस गई हैं और चिंता बढ़ गई है। बुधवार को हुई ताज़ा घटना में सड़क टूटने से दो कारें फंस गईं। स्थानीय लोगों को शक है कि पाइपलाइन प्रोजेक्ट्स के कारण सड़कें कमजोर हो रही हैं। अहमदाबाद म्युनिसिपल कॉर्पोरेशन जांच कर रहा है, लेकिन लोगों का कहना है कि इसी इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर काम की वजह से बार-बार ये हादसे हो रहे हैं।
