At least four people have died in eastern Spain following torrential rain and severe flooding along the Mediterranean coast. The worst-affected areas include Valencia and Alicante, where hundreds were left stranded. Emergency services rescued over 450 people from rooftops, buildings, and vehicles. The Balearic Islands also experienced disruptions, with schools closed and flights affected. Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez pledged government support for the affected regions, which suffered a similar disaster two years ago.
