Food safety officials in Gurgaon seized and destroyed 365kg of suspected adulterated dairy products, including 350kg of paneer and 15kg of khoya, during a raid on a shop in Khandsa Mandi. The action was taken following a tip-off about the sale of such products. Officials found the stock unfit for consumption due to a foul smell and abnormal texture, burying the entire consignment to prevent it from entering the food supply chain. Samples have been sent for laboratory analysis to confirm the presence of adulterants.
