12-Year-Old Boy Hacked To Death; Accused Lynched By Villagers

A 12-year-old boy, Sumit Kumar, was allegedly hacked to death with a sharp weapon by a man in Madhepura district on Saturday. The accused, identified as 45-year-old Anil Yadav, later attacked villagers who tried to intervene. Enraged villagers then caught Yadav near the crime scene and beat him to death. Police have sent both bodies for postmortem and are investigating the motive behind the brutal killing. The incident occurred near a culvert in Itahri village.

शनिवार को मधेपुरा जिले में 12 साल के एक लड़के, सुमित कुमार, को एक आदमी ने धारदार हथियार से कथित तौर पर काट डाला। आरोपी, जिसकी पहचान 45 वर्षीय अनिल यादव के रूप में हुई है, ने बाद में उन ग्रामीणों पर हमला किया जिन्होंने बीच-बचाव करने की कोशिश की थी। गुस्से में आए ग्रामीणों ने फिर यादव को अपराध स्थल के पास पकड़ लिया और उसे पीट-पीट कर मार डाला। पुलिस ने दोनों शवों को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया है और इस क्रूर हत्या के पीछे के मकसद की जांच कर रही है। यह घटना इटहरी गांव के पास एक पुलिया के पास हुई।
