Delhi Deploys 2,947 Bus Marshals, 56 Special Buses for Women's Safety

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced significant safety measures, including the deployment of 2,947 bus marshals in DTC buses and the operation of 56 special buses for women. Fifteen of these special buses run during the evening shift with armed women police personnel. All buses are equipped with panic alarms, CCTV, and GPS, monitored 24/7. The government is also enhancing accommodation facilities for working women and strengthening child protection systems. Additional measures include self-defence training in schools and extensive CCTV installations across the city to improve overall safety.

दिल्ली की मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता ने सुरक्षा के लिए बड़े कदम उठाए हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि DTC बसों में 2,947 बस मार्शल तैनात किए गए हैं और महिलाओं के लिए 56 विशेष बसें चलाई जाएंगी। इनमें से 15 विशेष बसें शाम की शिफ्ट में चलेंगी, जिनमें हथियारबंद महिला पुलिसकर्मी होंगी। सभी बसों में पैनिक अलार्म, CCTV और GPS लगे हैं, जिनकी 24/7 निगरानी की जाएगी। सरकार कामकाजी महिलाओं के लिए रहने की सुविधाओं को भी बेहतर बना रही है और बच्चों की सुरक्षा के इंतजामों को मजबूत कर रही है। स्कूलों में आत्मरक्षा प्रशिक्षण और पूरे शहर में CCTV लगाने जैसे अतिरिक्त कदम भी उठाए जा रहे हैं ताकि सुरक्षा को और बेहतर बनाया जा सके।
