IIT-BHU Partners With NHIDCL For Highway Infrastructure Research

Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, has signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL). This collaboration aims to foster joint research, technology transfer, and innovation in highway infrastructure, with a particular emphasis on challenging terrains. The partnership will focus on advanced highway engineering, slope stabilisation, sustainable pavement technologies, and real-time monitoring of road networks, especially in hilly and border regions.

इंडियन इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी (बी.एच.यू.), वाराणसी ने नेशनल हाईवेज एंड इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर डेवलपमेंट कॉर्पोरेशन लिमिटेड (एन.एच.आई.डी.सी.एल.) के साथ एक समझौता ज्ञापन (एम.ओ.यू.) पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं। इस सहयोग का उद्देश्य चुनौतीपूर्ण इलाकों पर विशेष ध्यान देने के साथ हाईवे इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर में संयुक्त अनुसंधान, प्रौद्योगिकी हस्तांतरण और नवाचार को बढ़ावा देना है। यह साझेदारी उन्नत हाईवे इंजीनियरिंग, ढलान स्थिरीकरण, टिकाऊ फुटपाथ प्रौद्योगिकियों और विशेष रूप से पहाड़ी और सीमावर्ती क्षेत्रों में सड़क नेटवर्क की वास्तविक समय की निगरानी पर ध्यान केंद्रित करेगी।
