Kohli's stunning catch and Rohit's run-out highlight India's Auckland ODI fielding

Times of India - Sports · sports

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma showcased exceptional fielding prowess in India's first ODI against New Zealand in Auckland. Kohli took a spectacular low catch at second slip to dismiss Nathan Smith, while Rohit's quick thinking and accurate throw led to Daryl Mitchell's run-out. These crucial dismissals, achieved through impressive athleticism and awareness, helped India gain an advantage early in the match. The Indian team, led by Shubman Gill, elected to field after winning the toss, fielding a relatively inexperienced pace attack.
