Child Rape Case: Premises Raided, LOC Issued

Chennai police have raided the premises of granite baron R Veeramani, who was arrested over three weeks ago in connection with a child rape case. Authorities have also issued a look out circular against a person named Prakash, who is suspected to be involved in suspicious financial transactions related to the case. Police were informed Prakash had gone abroad, prompting the LOC to be issued to airports nationwide.

चेन्नई पुलिस ने तीन हफ्ते पहले गिरफ्तार हुए ग्रेनाइट कारोबारी आर. वीरमणि के ठिकानों पर छापा मारा है। वीरमणि पर रेप का आरोप है। पुलिस ने प्रकाश नाम के एक व्यक्ति के खिलाफ भी लुकआउट सर्कुलर जारी किया है। उस पर केस से जुड़े पैसों के संदिग्ध लेन-देन का शक है। पुलिस को पता चला कि प्रकाश विदेश चला गया है, इसलिए देश भर के एयरपोर्ट पर अलर्ट जारी किया गया है।
