US Teen's Hindu Temple Attack Plot Foiled By Rifle Jam, Co-worker Alert

A 19-year-old man's alleged plot to carry out a mass shooting at a Hindu temple in Illinois, US, was foiled after his rifle jammed and a co-worker alerted authorities. Alexandros Paporakis reportedly drove to the temple with body armour and ammunition, intending to kill a significant number of Indians. After the gun malfunctioned, he allegedly searched online for jam-clearing instructions before contacting a colleague about his intentions. Co-workers had previously reported Paporakis for expressing white supremacist views and hatred towards Indian people.
