Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has accused the ECI of aiding vote theft by denying political parties searchable digital voter lists for eight years. He demanded the resignation of CEC Gyanesh Kumar and an immediate halt to the Special Summary Revision (SSR) process. Ramesh stated that the ECI stopped providing digital voter lists in a searchable format after the Congress uncovered millions of fake voters in Madhya Pradesh in 2018.

कांग्रेस नेता जयराम रमेश ने चुनाव आयोग (ECI) पर आठ साल से राजनीतिक दलों को खोजने योग्य डिजिटल मतदाता सूची उपलब्ध न कराकर वोट की चोरी में मदद करने का आरोप लगाया है। उन्होंने मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त (CEC) ज्ञान प्रकाश कुमार के इस्तीफे और विशेष सारांश संशोधन (SSR) प्रक्रिया को तत्काल रोकने की मांग की। रमेश ने कहा कि 2018 में कांग्रेस द्वारा मध्य प्रदेश में लाखों फर्जी मतदाताओं का खुलासा करने के बाद ECI ने खोजने योग्य प्रारूप में डिजिटल मतदाता सूची देना बंद कर दिया था।
