Jewellery Fraud Case: Two Brothers Arrested After 15 Years In West Bengal

Delhi Police's Crime Branch has apprehended two brothers, 47-year-old Pintu Kole and 46-year-old Mintu Kole, in West Bengal, 15 years after they committed a jewellery fraud in Delhi. The duo had absconded in 2011 after allegedly stealing 1.43 kg of gold and 560 carats of diamonds from a Delhi-based jeweller. A reward of ₹10,000 each was announced for their capture in 2012. The brothers, who worked as jewellery makers and designers, had gained the trust of their employer before committing the crime.

दिल्ली पुलिस की क्राइम ब्रांच ने पश्चिम बंगाल में दो भाइयों, 47 वर्षीय पिंटू कोले और 46 वर्षीय मिंटू कोले को दिल्ली में गहनों की धोखाधड़ी करने के 15 साल बाद गिरफ्तार किया है। यह जोड़ी कथित तौर पर 2011 में दिल्ली के एक ज्वेलर से 1.43 किलोग्राम सोना और 560 कैरेट हीरे चुराने के बाद भाग गई थी। 2012 में उन्हें पकड़ने के लिए प्रत्येक पर ₹10,000 का इनाम घोषित किया गया था। गहनों के कारीगर और डिजाइनर के तौर पर काम करने वाले भाइयों ने अपराध करने से पहले अपने नियोक्ता का विश्वास जीत लिया था।
