US Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that the Quad grouping is not an alliance directed against any specific country, but acknowledged that its concerns often point to one nation. He clarified that the Quad focuses on specific behaviours and activities rather than targeting any particular country. Foreign ministers from India, the US, Australia, and Japan met in Atlanta, reaffirming cooperation on supply chains, maritime security, and emerging technologies. They pledged over $85 million for trusted AI access in the Indo-Pacific and expressed concerns over economic coercion and non-market practices.
