Indians seeking US permanent residency through investment will face significantly higher costs as the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) finalizes new fee rules for the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Programme. Effective November 30, filing fees for key forms like I-526 and I-526E will nearly double, with substantial increases also for regional centre applications. The Form I-829 fee for removing conditions on permanent residency will also rise. USCIS states these fee adjustments are necessary to cover programme administration and operational costs.

निवेश के ज़रिए अमेरिका में स्थायी निवास चाहने वाले भारतीयों को अब ज़्यादा पैसे देने होंगे। US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) ने EB-5 Immigrant Investor Programme के लिए नई फीस के नियम पक्के कर दिए हैं। 30 नवंबर से I-526 और I-526E जैसे ज़रूरी फॉर्म भरने की फीस लगभग दोगुनी हो जाएगी। रीजनल सेंटर के आवेदन के लिए भी फीस काफी बढ़ जाएगी। स्थायी निवास की शर्तों को हटाने वाले फॉर्म I-829 की फीस भी बढ़ेगी। USCIS का कहना है कि ये फीस प्रोग्राम चलाने और दूसरे खर्चों को पूरा करने के लिए ज़रूरी हैं।
