EPFO Eases PF Withdrawal Rules, Allows 75% Partial Withdrawal

EPFO has simplified rules for partial withdrawal from PF accounts, effective. Under the new framework, eligible members can now withdraw up to 75% of their PF balance for various needs, including medical emergencies, education, and housing. A minimum of 25% of the balance must be retained in the account. The minimum service period for withdrawal has also been reduced to 12 months. These changes aim to make funds more accessible while ensuring retirement savings are preserved.

EPFO ने पीएफ खातों से आंशिक निकासी के नियमों को सरल बना दिया है, जो प्रभावी हैं। नए ढांचे के तहत, पात्र सदस्य अब विभिन्न जरूरतों, जैसे कि मेडिकल इमरजेंसी, शिक्षा और आवास के लिए अपने पीएफ बैलेंस का 75% तक निकाल सकते हैं। खाते में बैलेंस का न्यूनतम 25% बनाए रखना होगा। निकासी के लिए न्यूनतम सेवा अवधि को भी घटाकर 12 महीने कर दिया गया है। इन बदलावों का उद्देश्य सेवानिवृत्ति बचत को सुरक्षित रखते हुए फंड को अधिक सुलभ बनाना है।
