A 35-year-old factory worker in Gurgaon lost her right forearm after her hand was caught in a mustard oil extraction machine. The victim, Sanju Devi, alleged that the owner, Richa Gupta, continued assigning her the task despite her lack of expertise and repeated requests for another worker. Devi's hand got caught while operating the machine, leading to the amputation. Police registered an FIR against Gupta under sections related to rash and negligent acts endangering human life.
