12-Year-Old Cancer Patient's Lemonade Stand Inspires $100,000 Donation

A 12-year-old boy named Rowan Daniel Rieve, who was battling brain cancer, decided to raise money for childhood cancer research. His lemonade stand initially raised only $22.25. However, this small effort inspired an anonymous donor to contribute over $100,000 in his honour. Rowan passed away in July after a four-year fight with cancer. His hometown later proclaimed August 4 as Rowan Daniel Rieve Day to commemorate his 13th birthday.
