Sonal Chauhan recalls Emraan Hashmi's doubts about 'Jannat' proposal scene

Actress Sonal Chauhan has revealed that Emraan Hashmi was initially hesitant about the iconic proposal scene in their 2008 film 'Jannat'. Hashmi reportedly felt the scene was "a bit too much" during filming. Despite his reservations, the scene became a cult favourite and remains one of the most loved moments from the movie. Chauhan also credited the late singer KK's voice for enhancing the scene's impact. She noted that even years later, fans still deeply connect with the film, with some expressing sadness over the character's fate.

एक्ट्रेस सोनाल चौहान ने बताया है कि 2008 की उनकी फिल्म 'जन्नत' में वो मशहूर प्रपोजल सीन करने में इमरान हाशमी को शुरू में झिझक हो रही थी। कहा जाता है कि शूटिंग के दौरान हाशमी को लगा कि यह सीन "थोड़ा ज़्यादा" है। अपनी हिचकिचाहट के बावजूद, यह सीन कल्ट फेवरेट बन गया और फिल्म के सबसे पसंदीदा पलों में से एक है। चौहान ने सीन के असर को बढ़ाने के लिए दिवंगत सिंगर केके की आवाज़ को भी श्रेय दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि सालों बाद भी, फैंस फिल्म से गहराई से जुड़े हुए हैं, कुछ तो किरदार के अंजाम पर दुख भी जताते हैं।
