Former India pacer Parvinder Awana has been appointed as the chairman of the Indian men's junior cricket team's selection committee. This appointment comes as a surprise, contrary to recent media reports that suggested other individuals might be chosen for the role. Awana, who played two T20 Internationals for India, will now lead the selection panel responsible for identifying and nurturing young talent for the national team. His leadership is expected to bring a fresh perspective to junior cricket development in India.
