A weather system developing over the Bay of Bengal is expected to bring rainfall back to Keralam starting Sunday, November 1. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) stated that a low-pressure area over the Andaman Sea may intensify into a depression and potentially a cyclonic storm, moving towards the Andhra Pradesh coast. Coastal Andhra Pradesh and parts of the Southern Peninsula are likely to experience heavy rainfall. Keralam's Ghat regions and isolated areas may receive heavy showers, with a yellow alert issued for Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, and Idukki on Sunday.
