Religious Site Actions Protested, MPs Detained At Jantar

धार्मिक स्थलों पर कार्रवाई के विरोध में सांसदों को जंतर-मंतर पर रोका गया

दिल्ली पुलिस ने जंतर-मंतर पर प्रदर्शन कर रहे कई विपक्षी सांसदों को मस्जिदें और धार्मिक स्थलों पर कथित कार्रवाई और गिराए जाने के खिलाफ विरोध प्रदर्शन के दौरान हिरासत में ले लिया। भारतीय मुस्लिम निगरानी समिति द्वारा आयोजित इस प्रदर्शन में समुदाय के कई नेता, कार्यकर्ता और छात्र शामिल हुए। हिरासत में लिए गए लोगों में लोकसभा सांसद इरा हसन और अन्य लोग शामिल थे। आयोजकों ने कहा कि विरोध का उद्देश्य धार्मिक स्थलों को प्रभावित करने वाली कार्रवाइयों और धार्मिक स्वतंत्रता तथा संवैधानिक अधिकारों के व्यापक मुद्दों पर चिंता उठाना था। उन्होंने इन मुद्दों को शांतिपूर्ण और कानूनी तरीके से उठाने की अपनी प्रतिबद्धता पर जोर दिया।
