Indian Traveller Claims Bali Holiday Cheaper Than Goa Trip

NDTV · lifestyle

A recent comparison by an Indian traveller suggests that a foreign holiday can be more budget-friendly than a domestic trip to Goa. The traveller highlighted that a similar luxury resort stay in popular Southeast Asian destinations like Bali, Vietnam, or Krabi could cost between Rs 40,000 and Rs 60,000 for five nights. This price point is presented as being competitive with, or even cheaper than, equivalent accommodations within India, particularly Goa. The observation challenges common perceptions about international travel costs versus domestic tourism expenses.
