Indian shuttler Tanvi Patri will face China's Zhang Yi Xin in the Dakar Youth Olympics final, leveraging her formative years training in China. Patri honed her skills and resilience in Taicang, Jiangsu Province, for three years, competing in age-group tournaments. She recently won the Asian U17 Junior Championships in China, defeating multiple Chinese opponents. Patri is the first Indian woman to reach the Youth Olympics singles final and aims to be the first to win the title, following in the footsteps of male silver medalists HS Prannoy and Lakshya Sen.
