Several women's organisations, including AIDWA and NFIW, marched to the Delhi Police headquarters on Saturday to protest alleged sexual violence by police personnel during anti-CEC demonstrations. Protesters submitted a memorandum seeking accountability, citing documented testimonies and footage of alleged harassment and physical violence against women, transgender, and non-binary individuals. The groups stated these actions are misogynistic attempts to silence women and push them out of public life. Earlier, three women journalists had also accused police officers of inappropriate touching during protest coverage.
