Suicide Bomber Kills 12 At Pakistan Checkpost

At least 12 people, including two women and two children, were killed and 18 others injured in a suicide bombing at a police checkpost in northwest Pakistan on Saturday. The banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan claimed responsibility for the attack, which occurred in the Darazinda tehsil of Dera Ismail Khan district. A suicide bomber rammed a tractor-trolley laden with explosives into the checkpost. The injured were taken to the District Headquarters Hospital for treatment. Security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.
