SC orders BMC seat vacant for Raut's appeal

The Supreme Court has directed the Konkan divisional commissioner to decide Vishakha Raut's appeal on merits regarding her OBC caste certificate. Her seat in the BMC house will remain vacant until the appeal is decided, uninfluenced by a recent Bombay High Court order. Raut, a Shiv Sena (UBT) corporator, is challenging a disqualification order following the invalidation of her caste certificate.
