Saudi Arabia executed five of its nationals on Saturday in the Eastern Province after their convictions for terrorism-related offenses were upheld. The Ministry of Interior stated the men were involved in joining a foreign terrorist organization, attacking security forces, and supporting terrorist operations. These executions bring the total number of people put to death in Saudi Arabia this year to 188, according to an AFP tally. The ministry warned that anyone attacking security or violating rights would face legal consequences.

सऊदी अरब ने शनिवार को पूर्वी प्रांत में आतंकवाद से जुड़े अपराधों में दोषी ठहराए गए अपने पांच नागरिकों को फाँसी दे दी। गृह मंत्रालय ने बताया कि ये लोग एक विदेशी आतंकवादी संगठन में शामिल होने, सुरक्षा बलों पर हमला करने और आतंकवादी गतिविधियों का समर्थन करने में शामिल थे। एएफपी की गिनती के अनुसार, इन फाँसीयों के साथ इस साल सऊदी अरब में मरने वालों की कुल संख्या 188 हो गई है। मंत्रालय ने चेतावनी दी कि सुरक्षा पर हमला करने या अधिकारों का उल्लंघन करने वाले किसी भी व्यक्ति को कानूनी कार्रवाई का सामना करना पड़ेगा।
