Union Minister L Murugan Resigns, Seeks to Strengthen BJP in Tamil Nadu

Union Minister of State L Murugan has resigned from his posts as Union Minister and Rajya Sabha member. He expressed his desire to return to grassroots politics and dedicate himself to strengthening the BJP in Tamil Nadu. Murugan, a farmer's son from the Arunthathiyar community, holds law and doctoral degrees. He previously served as the BJP's Tamil Nadu chief and held positions in the National Commission for Scheduled Castes. Murugan aims to work with party workers ahead of the 2029 Lok Sabha elections.
