Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif Vows Efforts For West Asia Peace

Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated on Wednesday that Islamabad is actively working to promote peace in West Asia, despite regional challenges. He highlighted Pakistan's ongoing role in restoring regional stability and recalled recent diplomatic engagements with Iran and other countries. Sharif also mentioned Pakistan's participation in the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement, which stipulates mutual defense among Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkiye. The government is also committed to combating terrorism and has finalized a significant package for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's development and security.
